Client portal and members area on WordPress

Secure areas, shared documents, members-only content: a custom portal that gives your clients and members a reason to come back — the kind of tool AI can't replace.

From early childhood center parent areas to B2B portals

We've been building secure areas on WordPress for years — including the parent areas our early childhood center platforms are known for. The principle is always the same: give your clients, members or employees — client portal, members area or company intranet — authenticated access to what concerns them, and only what concerns them.

A well-built portal changes the relationship with your clientele: instead of emails and attachments that get lost, a single place to view documents, track a file and communicate. It's also a reason to come back to your site — week after week.

What your portal can include

Every portal is custom-built: we start from your processes, not from a template.

Login and roles

Secure authentication, roles and permissions by user type: everyone sees what concerns them, nothing more.

Confidential documents

Protected document sharing, organized by client or by file, with version history and two-way uploads.

File tracking

Progress status, communication history, built-in forms: your clients know where their requests stand without calling you.

Notifications

Automatic transactional emails: new document, status change, deadline reminder. Your clients stay informed effortlessly.

Payments and invoices

Invoice viewing, secure online payment and transaction history, built into the portal.

Integrations

Synchronization with your CRM, your accounting system or your internal tools: the portal reflects your real data.

Your advantage in the AI era

While AI engines summarize brochure sites, a secure portal offers what they can't reproduce: your data, in real time, for the right people. It's your chance to make your site a tool your clients use every week — not a brochure they read once.

Portals for every reality

A few examples drawn from our projects.

Early childhood centers and daycares

Parent area: official documents, communications, photos and reminders — with the reinforced compliance the sector demands.

Clinics and professionals

Confidential client or patient area: sensitive documents, intake forms, file tracking, Law 25 compliance.

B2B and manufacturing

Distributor portal: catalogues, account-specific negotiated pricing, recurring orders and technical documents.

Sensitive data, treated as such

By definition, a portal handles personal information. Encrypted communications, data hosted in Canada, documented consent and access logging: compliance with Quebec's Law 25 is built in from the design stage, not bolted on afterwards.

The portal can be added to your existing WordPress site or built into a complete design project. See website design →

Questions fréquentes

How much does a client portal on WordPress cost?

Depending on the number of roles, features and integrations, a portal falls within our project range ($3,000 to $50,000). A simple members area costs far less than a portal with case tracking and accounting integration — we give you an estimate once we've scoped the need.

Can a portal be added to my existing WordPress site?

Often, yes. If your site is technically sound, the portal is added as a secure section. If the foundation is aging, we'll tell you frankly — sometimes a redesign is a better investment.

Is my clients' data secure?

Encrypted communications, data hosted in Canada, daily backups, access logging and documented Law 25 compliance. A portal handles personal information: we treat it accordingly.

What's the difference between a client portal and a members area?

The same technical foundation: authenticated access. A client portal gives access to files and services (documents, invoices, tracking); a members area gives access to reserved content (courses, resources, community). Many projects combine both.

Will my clients need training?

No — the interface is designed to be self-evident. Your team is who we train: managing accounts, publishing documents and responding to requests.
